What is the short video feed?
It is a vertical feed of short clips from girls on FapChatGirl. You scroll, one clip at a time, the same way you would on any clip app, except that every girl you see is someone you can actually talk to.
When one catches your eye, you can follow her or start a call on camera from the clip itself. The feed lives at short videos, and it is the gentlest way to look around the site. Nobody sees you, nothing is matched, and you can leave the sound off.
How does the feed work?
Tabs across the top of the screen sort the clips, and you swipe up for the next one. Each clip has a few buttons around the edge that matter more than they look; those are covered below. The tabs you will probably use most:
- For You: a general mix, the default when you open the feed.
- Following: clips from girls you already follow, so you can see what they have posted.
- Hot: clips getting the most attention at the moment.
- Live: streams that are on right now, the same ones as the Live tab.
On each clip, the round picture on the right is her profile; the small plus under it follows her. The heart likes the clip and the arrow shares it. Clips start muted, with a sound button in the corner, and the pink button at the bottom starts a video chat with her.
Why scroll clips before you match?
A clip tells you things a random match takes minutes to reveal: how she laughs, what she likes doing, whether she is the chatty type. Ten minutes of scrolling can leave you with three girls you would genuinely like to talk to, which is a better start than hoping the random draw is kind.
Watching clips also gives you something to open with when you do call: “I saw your clip with the dog” gives her something to answer.
From a clip to a call
Two routes, depending on how sure you are.
Call now
Tap the Start video chat button under the clip. It asks for a one-on-one call with her on camera.
Follow first
Tap the plus under her picture. Her profile and clips stay one tap away in your Following tab.
Message later
Open her profile when the timing is better and send a message, or start a call from there.

Is the clip feed the same as Live?
Not quite. Clips are short videos that girls post ahead of time to the feed; you can watch them any time. Live streams are happening right now, have a room chat, and end when she stops. The Live tab in the feed is a shortcut into those streams.
Both lead to the same place in the end: her profile, a follow, and a one-on-one call when you are both ready.

No. Watching clips does not use your camera. It only comes in if you start a call.

Why is there no sound?
